2014 Darlington Primary School Annual Report
2014 marked a significant milestone in the history of Darlington Primary School, as the final cohort of Year 7 students graduated in December, along with the first group of Year 6 students to move on to secondary school as a whole group. These valedictory classes were a credit to their school. They were mature and valuable leaders, performing well both academically and socially. This would indicate that Darlington Primary School, its students the community are well placed to meet the challenges that lie ahead as education enters a period of significant reform in 2015.
The school is located on a beautiful three-hectare site in the heart of the Darlington village, in the hills east of Perth. In 2012, the school celebrated its Centenary and maintains a long and strong tradition of providing quality education for children from the local area. It is not uncommon for current students to have followed their parents and grandparents in attending the school.
