Our Dress Code Policy has been endorsed by our School Council and our Sunsmart uniforms have been designed by our parent body.
All parents are encouraged to dress their children in uniform.
As a Sunsmart school, we have a “No Hat, No Play” policy for all of the school year. Hats must be as per the School Dress Code: bucket, broad-brimmed or Legionnaire style, (with flap covering ears and neck).
The Uniform Shop is open every Friday morning, from 8:30 - 9:00 (school days), next to room 12. Alternatively, uniforms can be ordered through the 'Flexischools' website. All uniform items, including hats and bags may be purchased from the Uniform Shop. Contact with the Uniform Shop co-ordinators may be made through the main office.
Children who have shoulder length hair are asked to keep it tied back.
Parents are asked to frequently check their children’s hair for head lice. If a problem arises the school will assist with information.
The school is located on a beautiful three-hectare site in the heart of the Darlington village, in the hills east of Perth. In 2012, the school celebrated its Centenary and maintains a long and strong tradition of providing quality education for children from the local area. It is not uncommon for current students to have followed their parents and grandparents in attending the school.
